Huh… I see that this is true. Though April of last year did see a Coke Zero Caffeine Free variant.
In any event, don’t tell my Mormon friend about this. They’ll freak, and I want the pleasure of telling them myself. 
P.S. People seem to group Dr. Pepper (and Diet Dr. P) with cherry colas. They never tasted cherry to me.
True. But Warren Buffett said that cola is a unique soda flavor in that it has no “taste memory”, meaning that your sixth and seventh cola of the day will taste as good or bad as your first.
Who is right? Can anyone be trusted anymore??
There is a cherry flavored diet Dr Pepper, though. My favorite non cola soft drink.
I can ID them by smell. Coke smells more like orange; Pepsi smells more like lemon.
When I was a kid I was used to drinking Pepsi and preferred it, but now it tastes too sweet. Every so often, Pepsi will put out a “throwback” version that uses “real” sugar, and it’s undrinkable.
All diet soda tastes bitter to me, I never drink it.
