Thank you! I was just trying to remember the name of that comic. I enjoy it, but I tend to read webcomics several months at a time because I don’t have the patience to read a story through daily strips, and I’d forgotten the name of that comic.
P.S. I like the name Faye. Keep it.
Haha…its alright…besides changing the name would require a lot of white-out. 
I have mixed feelings. Based on those three strips I can see you have talent as a drawer, and the second comic made me chuckle out loud, but I have my complaints.
First off, the characters are nondescript to me. Your ability at drawing shines through, but the people seem like generic comic strip characters to me. I’m not saying you have to do something outlandish to make your strip stand out, but I think the character designs need tweaking.
Also, the humor in the first strip fell flat for me. I think bup’s criticisms of timing for that strip’s punch line are dead on (have the “retch” before the “more blood” comment, and a balloonless panel before the last one). And the third strip did zero for me.
Overall, I do like your art style, and I think that I dig your sense of humor. If the rest of your strips are of the same caliber of the three examples you gave I’d read it every time I came across it, although I must confess that I read 90% of the comics in the Washington Post. But I’d put yours in the upper 50% of the comics I read. You’d be on the short list of comics that I haven’t completely decided if I like or not, leaning towards liking.
And of course, my opinion is based on a couple of examples. Any more coming?
I appreciate that. I also think that bup had a good point, and I’ll probably eventually re do that one. Yes there are more coming. I’ve uploaded enough to get through monday. Actually, I have enough to fill up the month but I’m going to redo a lot of them just from a few of the suggestions here! (I really really appreciate the input guys)
I’m one of those guys that grew up reading Peanuts, Conchy (if anyone even remembers Conchy), Bloom county, The Far side and Calvin and Hobbes. I’ve always had the dream of doing a comic strip and making people chuckle and hopefully laugh out loud so I’ll say this…I’ll definitely try my hardest to get higher than your upper 50%! (I do appreciate the upper 50% thing though)
Me neither. I’m sure most people don’t think of THAT Faye when they hear the name. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it.
