My 84 year old father is very sick from some sort of complications from the flu. His blood sodium level fell dangerously low so he became so weak he could barely move. He’s been in the hospital since Thursday. He hasn’t been recovering well. I live hundreds of miles away but I’m going down there to help my mother. I’m very worried.
Best wishes. I hope it’s something easily correctable and that he can look forward to some good quality years yet to come!
It’s not easy to shake off the flu when you’re 84. Thank goodness we have hospitals where they can keep you stable long enough to give you a fighting chance.
Hoping for the best for you.
I hope he is feeling better by the time you get there, and that you will have a good visit with him.
Losing parents is difficult, even when it’s expected due to old age. You’re doing the right thing.
Fingers crossed for you. I just lost my father and it sucks, so I hope you and your dad have many more happy years left.
I heard that he’s getting a little better, so he might come home from the hospital today. Nevertheless I’m going there tomorrow for an indefinite period to help my mother. He’s still needs a lot of assistance.
Thanks for all your support.
