My Dad's Army Poetry

While my father was in the Army during WWII, he collected and wrote poetry to my mother. Some of it is quite good and I would like to preserve the little book he wrote it in, but I would also like to have another book made (bound?) that I can have to look at and not damage further than the original already is: yellowed paper, blurred ink, etc…

Does anyone know of a company that will do this if I re-type the originals? And how expensive would it be?

Thanks!

Quasi

I typed “private publishing” in the Yahoo! search and came up withthis source.

I’m sure if you search the net more exhaustively you can find many others.

And there I was thinking of the BBC comedy “Dad’s Army”, about the Home Guard in WWII.

Kinko’s does light publishing, small jobs. If you retype the originals they will print it for you on any available paper and bind it. I’m sure archival acid free paper is available.

For that matter, you can include scanned images of the original pages. You can add old photographs. You can do whatever you want.
