My preferred music ranges from very heavy metal to melodic death metal. Otep is great… for adults.

I personally would not let my 10 year old listen however as the lyrics are generally laced with very adult words and themes.

I pass NO JUDGEMENT (as I said I love the band) but as a parent you should now the following:

  1. Very heavy with adult language and themes
  2. Otep is openly gay if that matters to you
  3. Lyrics often have political and strong sexual themes (Warhead is a personal favorite)

Again, great metal. Her vocal range and growl are awesome but for a 10 year old? :eek:
