Some of you may have heard of the obscure German(?) singer Gunther, probably known mostly outside his own private world for his “Ding Dong Song” with “The Sunshine Girls.” (If you aren’t familiar and/or haven’t seen the video, it’s YouTubed .
I had thought (hoped – fervently) he was some kind of joke or one-off act. If you’ve seen the video (or have just come back from doing so) then – once you’ve stopped laughing your fool ass off – you’ll understand where I’m coming from. Well, Microsoft just went live with its YouTube wannabe “Soapbox.” One of its featured videos is a new Samantha Fox video remake of “Touch Me” – featuring Gunther! (YouTube link in case the Microsoft link doesn’t work, which it probably won’t)
Oh. Oh, Og. Dear, sweet Og. That’s just … I mean, okay, Sam Fox still looks like the same skank she did in the 80s, but Gunther? Holy crap on a cracker. He really is real. And on a whim, I decided to search for Gunther on YouTube and, lo and behold, there’s *[URL=http://I]
