Oh, no, Mr. ronincyberpunk Guy, I too am a peon. It is just that I am a security peon and have to listen to the chatter.
Too true attendance is down, but that is a combined issue of recent events (political, economical, etc. etc. etc.) and the massive desire of the idolator Mr. Eisner (and co.) to create a profit.
Zebra: Hypothetically speaking, you were invisible. No cameras are in the caves, although children speak loudly and parents complain the loudest. Did you notice the smell of urine? They were not caught, so if you are as quick as pee, then you shouldn’t get caught either.
DCA is slated for Filk’s filk, and Tower of Terrrrror (sp?) but it still only has 12 rides or so compared to D-Lands almost 50. There is 1 tree to a hundred in DCA (vs. DLand) and the place is almost as big. Most of it feels like parking lot with pretty buildings. Who wants to be a millionaire is still pretty cool with the people 'cause they get to play.
A lot of people (including me, at times) have done the heavy lifting on MousePlanet but David Koenig has never had an administratrive role; he just writes very good stuff and let’s MousePlanet print it.
MousePlanet was Al Lutz’s idea, but a lot of the names you still see at the site were there that day and helped turn it into a reality (hard to believe but it has been almost three years since the name “MousePlanet” was decided on, and the site is approaching its second birthday in a week or so).
If you aren’t a member of MousePad, I suggest you check it out; I don’t have many roles at MousePlanet anymore, but I am one of the moderators at the message boards.
