So… I have this printout of my DNA Analysis.
And I thought it would be quite amusing to post the genetic code on my website. But… then again I wonder if that’s wise.
What exactly can be deciphered by someone who has a bit of knowledge regarding genetics, if they have the numbers?
I’m curious to know if these numbers give any clue as to specific traits, and what each segment represents. or if theyre just bullshit numbers that don’t mean anything other than im a human with a vagina & breasts.
Unless you had your entire genome sequenced, you probably don’t have as much information as you think you do. And, unless you’ve been secretly operating your own clandestine human genome project for the past several years, I doubt you have your entire genome sequence.
I’d bet what you have is, at most, the sequence of one of your genes - more likely one part of one gene. Depending on the gene and your sequence, someone with enough knowledge might be able to tell if you have a predisposition to some disease.
