How shocking! I’m so sorry … a friend of mine just had something similar happen a few weeks ago. I hope you can find comfort in the fact that at least your pup didn’t suffer :(.
I’m so sorry! Do you know what happened? {{{hugs}}}

Those who say dogs don’t have souls,
either never had a dog,
or never had a soul.
Sorry for your loss.

ALL dogs go to Heaven.
That’s just terrible. I’m so sorry.
Please come back and tell us more when you can . . . if you find out what happened, some stories about Quinn, whatever.
We were on our way back from the afternoon walk.
He had a drink of water from a spigot at the local municipal beach, and another gulp of water when we stopped off at the neighbor of his former owner who passed away herself earlier this year.
He was trotting around normaly, collapsed, howled and yelped while he siezed for five or ten seconds, and lay still.
I tried to give him CPR…yes I blew breath into his nose as I held his mouth closed and gave compressions to his chest…but it was too late.
A passer-by called my mom on her cellphone, and she came with her minivan.
We picked him up and drove him to the local veterinarian to be cremated.
We believe it was a heart attack.
He died doing his favorite thing…walking with me.
I am so very, very sorry Enola Straight, but it sounds like your pet was loved so much!
What a wonderful and happy life he had with you!
So sorry for your loss though, pets are our babies, I completely understand.
