I got a phone call this morning, saying that my father is in the hospital, getting…something…done. He’s had a heart attack. I’ve been waiting by the phone to hear more. I don’t know if he’s going to make it.
I’m very worried.

I just got word. He’s probably going to make it, though he’ll have to have triple bypass surgery next week.

Having been in the same situation, my heart (no pun intended) goes to you Lynn. Hope that everything turns out allright.
Lynn, I am sorry to hear about your father. I had a heart attack myself on May first this year. I don’t know what procedure they are giving your father but I had an angioplasty and they put two stents in my heart arteries. The procedure worked and I am doing very well now. I hope the same applies to your father. Your father is in good hands and it is good that he got to the hospital.

My thoughts are with you, Lynn. My father lived for 20 years after his first heart attack.
(I have my TV in front of my treadmill, and one of these days I’m going to figure out how to make it into a monitor, too)
