Typical Democrat, confiscating my stuff for “my own good”.:mad: Now they’ll drink most of it and then distribute the rest to the poor. At least, their “intentions” were good.

Surely it was Bush who ordered your drink be confiscated - he wanted to save you from the evils of caffeine addiction, and thus set you on the right path for redemption.
I doubt if a real Democrat could sneak into a Republican Party … but, if one did, he would have probably taken your Pepsi can off to be recycled.
In America, Republican Party always finds you.
pssst… It’s the Republicans who are big on punishing drug use with prison time. We Dems tend to prefer rehabilitation, or even legalization.

Living near the People’s Republic of Berkeley like I do, I sometimes forget that politics around here are farther left than most other parts of the country. I did however track down Congressman Barney Frank from Massachusetts: “We make a mistake, with the serious law enforcement problems we have today, to get the police to arrest people who smoke marijuana… We are wasting $10 billion a year trying to physically interdict drugs.” (from here, an anti-legalization site) And there’s also a group you may have heard of called the ACLU.
