My first biopsy - eep (or, why you should always get a second opinion)

Yay!!!

Dunnow, I suspect The Irishman might not be forthcoming with permission.

Good to know, Haze!

Great news!! Hooray!!

Yay!!!

Thanks for letting us know! YAY!

Great!

After my sister’s mastectomy I could find “lumps” all the damn time. I’ve always had lumpy breasts, and I have dense breasts of size (which are notoriously hard to diagnose), I have painful breasts and now I was freaked out by the whole thing. Its worth checking everything out - I never managed to find anything worthy of a biopsy, but got an extra squish or two and an ultrasound. Stressful, it was. But my doctor was completely understanding (and had a mother with breast cancer where the first sign was pain - the lump wasn’t noticeable until much later. That is apparently a rare thing, but it happens)

Isn’t it nice to be in a situation where negative is a positive word?! Yay!

High-Five

(Say, does this now mean that Friday the 13th is your lucky day? )

Glad to hear it Haze!

Don’t let the left boob feel neglected either!

I didn’t even realize it was Friday the 13th until my boyfriend pointed it out to me after we got the results. He said he’d noticed the date but was afraid of freaking me out by mentioning it beforehand.

I’ll make sure to give my left boob an extra squeeze to let it know it’s also appreciated.

:):):)

**I take a Tylenol about half an hour before mammos or pelvic exams just to dull the pain a bit. I hope I’m not skewing the results.

Awesome :).

I’m happy for ya Hazel.

Glad to hear it. I’ve been following this thread with interest, and I am relieved (as I’m sure you are) to know it is nothing of consequence. Hooray!
