From Jill, with Love by Suz Stracener is a book about a nurse’s growing insanity as her new husband’s affairs with the ladies of the night cause her to get an STD that costs the life of her newborn child. Wracked with grief and wanting vengeance, she starts off by strangling the women’s newborn children when they first come out of the womb, and moves on to ever-more-graphic murders of the prostitutes themselves.
This is my friend’s first published work for profit, and I gave it four out of five stars on Amazon. It’s definitely well worth the $3.99 list price. It’s a bit graphic for my usual taste, but I couldn’t put it down. (You can read my full review under the name Patricia Hawn.)
