My refridgerator crapped out last night ! We’ve got water leaking out of the bottom of the thing. I called a repairman, ready to pay through the nose for overtime, and he said he didn’t think it was worth saving.
This morning I went out to buy a new fridge, since I live in east bumfuck, there is only one place that sells furniture and appliances for about 35 miles. Of course, there is only one guy that delivers, and he is so backed up that I can’t get a fridge until tomorrow.
How the fuck am I supposed to keep my food from going bad until then ? I’ve already got six big bags of ice packed around the food, I’m probably going to have to find more ice somewhere. It will not be an easy task since we have a lot of tourists around buying up all the ice. If I had neighbor that were even close to normal, I would ask if I could keep a few things in their refridgerators, but I’m surrounded by lunitics !
