My Google-fu has failed me.

Can anybody find an R. Crumb Mr. Natural robe for sale?

A couple possibilities:

  1. Can you sew (or know someone who can)? You might get a patch (or cut off part of a T-shirt) and sew it on a robe.
  2. There is an entire industry devoted to custom silk-screening–both online and retail shops–and you can use your own artwork.

Thanks PastTense). I can’t sew a lick but I’ve been thinking about using a table cloth and making as few cuts as possible, and maybe hem tape would take care of those.

I don’t need the actual logo; the person it’s for claims Fred as his alter-ego and that would be like wearing a picture of himself. :stuck_out_tongue:

See if anyone on Etsy makes robes in a style you like, then write to see if they’ll do a custom job. Many will.

If you can only find something in white, then you can get RIT dye to make it yellow.

Here’s a picture of Mr. Natural: http://gerardoprovenzano.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/mr-natural.jpg

Good pic! The dry cleaner has a seamstress…maybe he/she would be willing to stitch one up. I’ll ask.
