My Grandma Just Died

My condolences go out to the both of you. Grandparents hold a special place in our hearts and for many of us teach us lessons about life that could come from no one else.

Just try to remember all of the great memories I am sure you both have and know that there are so many people here on these boards that are here for you.

Fenris, I am so sorry for your loss. :frowning:

Geez, Milo…“Ah feel your pain”…<wan grin>. I certainly don’t think this is a hijack. And you have my sympathy. I do know how you feel.

Mom is a very close #2 for me. Seeing dad cry is #1 on my list.

Anyway Milo you’ve got my best wishes.

Fenris

Please accept my deepest sympathies Fenris.

As mentioned before, your granny will always live on whenever you cook one of her recipes. (And I know you’re a great cook.)

I’ll leave you with a quote from Saroyan:

“I know that no one lives forever, but in this case, I was hoping that God would make an exception.”

My Sincerest Condolences For Your Loss,

Chris

I posted a long, loving and thoughtful reply to you, honey, but it doesn’t seem to have made it into this thread.

So please…just know that I understand, I feel for you, I am sending you and your family my prayers and loving thoughts.

It hurts too much to lose someone you love. And that hurt will change and become something manageable eventually, but it will never go completely away.

I am so sorry, Fenris. You will have your grandma in your heart, and no one can take that away from you. Not ever.

(((((Fenris))))))

Much Love,

Cheri
