My grandmother was abducted by aliens

Yes thats right. Several years ago (about 5 or 6) my grandmother claimed to have seen eight forms of spacecraft zooming about the sky while she was watering her plants one day. Then we lived outside town in a rural part of the county, with no neighbors for several miles…So no one else saw the spacecraft. But now she is slowly going insane…talking to birds, squirrles, and other city creatures that she feels the need to carry on conversation with…She forgets things and almost burned the house down…Could this be sheer old age catching up with her? No. Not to my belife anyway. My conclusion is that she was abducted by those aliens, probed with some kind of crazy alien probing device, and sent back to Earth…All for research purposes that is. Maybe Im crazy. Maybe Im right…

Maybe grammy should stop eating the mushrooms growing in the backyard.

No…I think it was the ones that grow on cow crap from the 60s…

Aliens! They’re everywhere! AHHH!!!

Yes they are…OMG DONT TURN AROUND…just…RUN!

Hehe, I like your signature. Its very true

 Thanks. Oh, and hey, I notice you’re pretty new, so welcome!

Yes I am new…and thanks for the hearty welcome

I was abducted by aliens once, but I got better.

I abducted some aliens once, but I let them go after I measured and tagged them.

Hey, welcome to the boards and sorry to hear about your Grandma. Knew a few people that was a bit senile, but not to that extent.

Give her a hug now and again, huh?

I, for one, welcome our new, evil, alien overlords.

My friend and I saw some aliens while in Port Aransas last week on vacation…or what we belived to be aliens…eight figures flying in a V formation in the south western part of the sky…Just flying along and then dissapeared. The whole experience lasted about two seconds until they were gone. Becca and I both saw them though…And is it possible to see satellites from Earth…?

I’m waiting for my alien to arrive in the mail. He should have been here by now. Maybe tomorrow. I hope, anyway.

That would be a beanie baby version of one of the Toy Story aliens. eBay; $7; no one else bid.

hayleyavon, yes it is possible to see satellites, but they don’t tend to orbit in tight V formations. You don’t give many details, like time of day, but was it mid to late evening, sometime near dusk? They could have been airplanes and been in the right orientation to reflect sunlight from sunset, and then the angle changed and they lost prominence.

There is a small airport near my house. I have on a number of occasions been driving home after work, and suddenly had a bright object appear in the corner of my vision - a small plane catching the sunlight. Then as it flies past it will fade and I quickly can’t find it even though I know where I last saw it along the horizon.

Also, I think your grandmother is just senile. My parent’s neighbor lady started hallucinating people walking into her house. They had to contact the lady’s family.

Hmmm well, thats a nice observation about the sun reflecting off the planes, but that is not possible in this case. It was around 10:30 PM, with minimal moonlight, and zero sunlight. Although…In Port Aransas there IS a Naval base and they might have been making runs at night, and since it WAS in the South Western part of the sky (where the sun would set…), the sun that had already set might have reflected off of them, but they were so high and at such an angle I couldnt see the sun…If that makes any sense at all.

And yes…My grandmother is just senile…But she can still cook, so I guess we’ll keep her around

Oh and the satellite business, we would see slowly moving “stars” that would take about 5 minutes to travel across the sky, or to where we couldnt see them any more. It wasnt like a shooting star which goes by in a nanosecond, this took its time. My conclusion was that they were satellites…
