My home town is a small market town. Its main industry is tourism.

My home town makes: electronics and gift foods (cookies and fudge in gift boxes for the tourist market)

The town where I now live makes: pharmaceuticals (antibiotics), electronics, crystal glassware and building preservatives.

Information.
Fast food.
Fierra happy.

More than likely, my town makes your town’s manhole covers, storm drains and fire hydrants.

Check to see if yours read “East Jordan Iron Works, East Jordan, Michigan.” Most do.

I am one of the rare freaks who grew up this town and never worked at the plant, including summers while going to college.

My town imports money from your town, manufactures law with it & exports the laws back to your towns.

My town can beat up your town.

Danville, KY

Microwaves. (Matshusita)

And last, but most certainly not least…

The best donuts, cookies, rolls, gingerbread men, etc. this side of Heaven. (Burke’s Bakery)

It’s a nice, small town, but I’m very proud to call it home.

Slight technicality- The Makers Mark distillery is in Loretto, Kentucky, quite a bit south and a little east of Louisville.

Thanx, DWYR. I didn’t know that. That being said, I think you live in one the greatest cities I’ve ever been to. The best thing about Louisville, to me, is Sparks. I don’t think it’s still around, but I have some surreal stories about my time there. Especially the three hundred pound drag queen bouncer named Mother. Ahhhhh…those were the days.
