My letter to the Asbury Park Press was letter of the week.

My letter about unfair parking expenses at the PNC Bank Arts Center (formerly Garden State Arts Center was letter of the week in the Asbury Park Press

Jesus, they charge for parking on a per person basis? That’s fucked up.

Yep now a per person basis because it’s added to the ticket price.

The whole idea of paying per person bothers me a lot. I used to go to a lot of venues at the Garden State Arts Center (people still get confused when its referred to as PNC Bank Arts Center even though it has been that for a while) because it was usually cheap and we could get there quickly. What exactly is the justification for this new fee?

Damn, that is a bad policy. I am going to see the Allman Brothers in August.

I guess the parking fee is already charged. What a ripoff. So they are even charging people that come by bus to park, forget carpoolers like me.

Jim

I won’t presume to speak for them, but I imagine it’s something along the lines of: “Ha ha, loser! Wanna go see Meat Loaf butcher his classics? Gonna cost you an extra six bucks a pop! Why? Because we fucking well can, that’s why! Haw! Haw! Haw!”

Maybe it’s a surcharge just because it’s the Opie & Anthony Virus Tour.
