Also, to be fair, the phoenix incident was mostly Fawkes’s, I mean, Philomena’s doing.
Apparently she’ll be making her return in Season 2.

The line about “If you’re still searching for your true friends, just look up in the sky. Maybe you and your future best friends are all looking at the same rainbow” struck a nerve despite it’s cheesiness. I think they will get their cutie marks at some point in season 2, probably all at the same time.
Good news, everyone! Looks like Season 2 will premiere a month earlier than expected, with a two-parter focused around the Elements of Harmony. Tentative airdate is September 17.

Unclear right now. My guess is that it’s an entity that influenced Luna into turning all “THE MARE IN THE MOON NIGHTMARE MOON.”
But I’m personally trying to avoid spoilers as much as possible, so I haven’t done any further research. For similar reasons, I don’t really know where to go for info about other Season 2 episodes (although I don’t think there have been any announcements or leaks, anyway).
