De Tomaso always strikes me as one of the most confusing (or perhaps confused!) car brands ever. Italian sports car with an Argentinian spiritual father/CEO, and Detroit engines.

I should have been more clear. The new Mini (otherwise known as MINI) has only a metallic BRG. Or rather, they have a dark metallic green that they have mistakenly called British Racing Green.

20th AE GTI is a Golf IV … Europe had the GTI five years before we got them, so your 25th Anniversary models (the 337) were re-badged and re-colored for our 20ths.
Ah, makes sense then. With that setup, it’s an altogether good handler. Not so fond of the standard IV’s, mind you. Understeer all the way.
