My Mom Had A Stroke

Yesterday my Mom had a mini-stroke, She has some loss of the use of her arm and leg on her left side, short term memory disfunction and is plain scared, so am I for that matter.

Thankfully my younger sister decided to come visit on the spur of the moment and was there when it happened and got Mom to the hospital. I am going to Mom’s tomorrow (or I suppose today since it is after 2 am here) she cried today and asked me not to so I didn’t, but I will later no matter what she says.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I am scared out of my wits.

Your mother and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Take care.

I’m sorry. I will be thinking of her and of you.

You & your mom are in my thoughts.

I’ve been in your position, Ayesha. You and your mom are in my thoughts. I saw my own mum go through three strokes – they can destroy the soul as surely as they impair the body.

Good thoughts, positive vibes – and much, much strength as you help her through her recovery.

::hugs::, Aye.

You and your family are in my thoughts.

Thinking of you.

{{{Ayesha & family}}}

All the best. I will be thinking of you.

I am very sorry, Ayesha.

Just remember that, while she has life, there will always be hope. Fear is normal, in this sort of case, but must try to put it to good use! A drive to return to a normal life will help her.

I will pray for her, and ask my dear departed Dad (smooches, daddy) to put in a good word.

I’m very sorry, Aye. I’m hoping for the best. You’ll be in my thoughts.

Ayesha, prayers and good thoughts are winging your way. My MIL had two TIA’s in rapid succession about four years ago, so I can understand your feelings right now.

Great advances in stroke therapy are being made and with therapy my MIL made a full recovery. You have my every wish that your Mom’s recovery is quick and full.

I was just thinking about you and wondering how you were doing.
I’m so sorry to hear this.
I will we keeping you in my thoughts and let us know how things are going and if there is any way I can help.

Oh dear! I will keep you and your mom in my prayers. Be well, take care of yourself and keep us posted!

My very best to you and your mom, Ayesha.

Ayesha, my mom had a stroke when she was 42. I was 16 at the time. It was a crazy experience, and I was scared out of my mind. Thankfully it was a minor stroke and everything worked out all right.

But I know what you’re going through, and it’s tough. Good luck.

Positive Vibes on their way to your Mom.

Strokes are so scary. If it’s any consolation I know several people who have had them that recovered completely.

my thoughts and prayers are with you.

You have my thoughts and prayers too. Since my dad had a stroke when I was still a child, I can relate to the fear and confusion. Fortunately, despite some setbacks and disabilities, he is doing fairly well still, almost 10 years later. My point is simply that, even after a major disabling stroke, there is hope. Thank God that your mother was able to get help quickly. Hopefully if it was truly a mini stroke there won’t be any permanent harm.

(((Ayesha and your family))) My thoughts and prayers are with you.
