I moved in February and started all over with my living room, with all new furniture and accents. It has been a slow process, and I still need to get a flat-screen tv and new tv stand, but for now, it’s done! I was constantly going to home stores, Craigslist, yard sales and thrift stores, and I put together all of the stuff that had to be assembled, which was hard. I’m not very mechanical. It’s nothing fancy or anything that will be in House Beautiful, but it feels very comfy and homey to me. It’s a relief to have it all done.

That living room rocks! It does look very much like a home (not the retro crap my sister is in). Your kitty is so cute!
I really liked how you have multiple windows, and the door to the yard.

Thanks all! Mundane indeed, but I’ve spent a lot of time and money on it so validation, it is good. If I were sucking monkeys, though, I’d keep that to myself. That would be a secret.
