Anyone have that happen to them today, saturday? After about a minute reading General, the mouse pointer & mouse control disappears. This occurs with Netscape 4.7 & IE. Tried a few times, same thing. Doesn’t happen in this ABout Forum, though. odd.
That happens to me periodically. The cursor disappears, but only in the browser window; it remains visible on the desktop and in other apps. It does remain active in the browser, just invisible.
Solutions I use: 1) logoff/logon, 2) start another browser and 3) just use it in invisible mode (difficult but doable).
It only happened to me once. That’s pretty odd. But you are right, the mouse still works on the desktop.
It’s easier to use the TAB button to navigate. All browsers have keyboard shortcuts. They aren’t much shorter, though.
