No, you’re not crazy, I noticed that too. I just assumed he got it cleaned up after he bought it back. Or maybe the guy he sold it to fixed it up.

Paul was played by Max Perlich, who has done a lot of character work over the past 20 years. He played Whistler on Buffy.

He wore a hat on Buffy, at least most of the time. The shaved head is more recent though; he probably did it to combat a receding hairline.

I assumed it was her tiny husband and her freaky tall children. Remember she’s Earl’s age and the guy looked to be the same age and the kids were teenagers.
