For those who followed my thread regarding the neighbor’s Rotttweiler, I have posted a movie online. If your connection is faster than mine it might not be such a lengthy download :). So what do you think? Would you find this intimidating if it were your neighbor’s dog and displaying this behavior toward you? The only thing between us and him is an invisible electric fence, which he’s been known to cross although he didn’t do it this time. In this movie he was heralding the arrival of a guest. The gravel in the foreground is our driveway. Tell me this isn’t a trifle scarey and I’ll shut up about this forever. Promise.
I don’t have QT installed so I can’t see it. If you post it in a different format I could see it.
I’d have made it an .avi if I knew how. The file’s huge, I know. But that’s what a digital camera makes is a .mov wo alas I’m stuck with it.
They closed your last thread because there was nothing more to say on the matter. A video is nice, but it offers no new question to answer. I don’t see this thread lasting long.
I got this error message
k2dave, right click on the link, select “save target as”.
It’s a big file, and only shows a big dog running around and barking within its owner’s yard.
I’m not sure that the video supports pohjonen’s complaint.
That’s a pretty intimidating sight for a huge, seemingly aggressive dog like that to be roaming free. It’s incredibly obnoxious in side by side community to be under constant threat like that.
Desmostylus, right click on which link?
[haven’t been able to load the film]
This dog is seen as a hazard.
There were some specific prior posts on how to get responsible experts involved through your local government. That move would be legal, and least likely to create trouble in the neighborhood. The expected results would range from, Dog is stopped from being a hazard (most likely), to, Experts inform OP’er that he/she can relax about the dog.
Why is this action being delayed?
The taxpayers are paying for this service in order to prevent dog-bites, let them get what they are paying for.
on this one.
Same as the one in the first post by pohjonen.
I think we’ve had enough of this already. pohjonen, your earlier thread was closed for a reason. Don’t open another one on the same subject.
