My New Blackjack Betting System Rules! (sorta)

I did a test run on Sunday at the Niagara Falls Casino. It’s not a counting system. I haven’t got the brains for that, and anyway, if they even suspect you of it, they break your thumbs or something.

This is a money management system, where you bet incrementally, depending on what happened the previous hand, and you bet in units of one, two, or three.

Normally, the casino takes all my money within three or four hours, but this time, with my system, it took them the better part of the day to break me. Obviously, I’m on to something here. A little bit of fine tuning is all it needs. Yeah, that’s it.

One of my so called friends said, “Leave it up to Slip to devise a way to prolong the agony of losing.”

Jealousy is such an ugly thing.

Casino workers have a name for folks who use this system. They call them “slow bleeders.”

There’s only one absolutely positive way you can assure yourself of winning at blackjack.

First, find a table with absolutely no maximum bet limit
Second, find a table that can change an infinite amount of money into chips.
Third, bet one chip to start off with. If you lose, double it. Repeat.

Viola. Surefire way to win the game.

Actually there is one sure way to win at blackjack - be the House!
Just think about it - Casinos have to pay the mortgage, the furnishings, the wages, taxes etc. Their income is the profit from suckers gambling (OK, plus some drinks).

Enderw24 is also right, but you will win very slowly.
Incidentally, Enderw24, where does the musical instrument come in?

Counting is the only way. PERIOD. I’ve been dealing in a casino for about 3 yrs. and studying gaming theory for about as long. I taught myself to count about 2 years ago with the help of a few books and computer programs but the field is too small to do it in Louisiana. The Martingale system (you stumbled on a variant) is effective only with infinite resources and no betting limit. Also, assesing the efficacy (sp?) of a system is not possible with such a limited trial as yours. It takes, oh, at least a few thousand hands to begin to tell what is positive expectation and what is flux (also called variance). Well, gotta go to work now, those “sheep” aren’t going to fleece themselves.

I have a question: can you count a 5 or 6 deck blackjack table like Rain Man did?

If you can use +,- system…betting 1-10 units never take insurance if available play on tables that have automatic shufflers if not watch for poor procudures and careless dealers…

Capacitor: Counting a 6 deck shoe is easier than counting a single deck. Counting a 30 deck shoe would only be slightly more difficult.
