That’s really a great illusion!
If you’ve seen it I appologise but check out this Illusion. Stare at the center for 30 or so seconds - the longer the better - then look at your hand. Really kinda funky.
And you get to look like a demented chicken as well!

The first one CRAZY ILLUSION! (rotating circles) was my fave. Perplexing Illusion! made my eyes water, and Life made me feel like I was going cross-eyed!

Gah! The 9 people thing. I actually saw the big guy first, being familar with these things. It was one of the four Chef Troy talked about that I missed. I was looking all over to find a site with an explanation. Ack!
That’s not an optical illusion… it just looks like one.
I saw this one back in the 80’s in an issue of Omni magazine. You’d cut it out of the magazine and place it on your turntable (stop laughing!). I stared at it for about two minutes and thought the illusion would never stop.

Damn it! I was the 1,000,000 visitor to the website and the message is blocking the picture! BTW, anyone know how to close those things? They don’t have an x in the corner nor a “close” thing to press.
Just a warning to those with heart conditions: beware the illusion that reads “Stare At The Picture and Concentrate. It will take about one minute for your eyes to adjust. This is REALLY Freaky!” and just has a picture of a room.
