Just went shopping for new bedding. In addition to a new flannel duvet, I got some Beech Jersey Modal sheets. (I never heard of them before either.) So-o-o-o-o-o soft. Like I needed any more reasons to stay in bed in the morning.

Are those the cotton jersey sheets? I love mine, even though I just got the ones that were on sale at Penney’s.
They’re cool enough in the summer, although in the winter I generally switch to flannel sheets. mmmm…cozy flannel sheets.
As soon as I read the thread title, I knew you were talking about Modal sheets. I got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond about a year ago and I, too, had never heard of them until I saw them. I don’t know why they aren’t more well known. They’re more affordable than super-high thread count sheets and they’re softer.
I said exactly the same thing when I got them, too. Naughty indeed.
I recently saw socks at Target made out of Modal. Might pick me up some.

I’ve never seen the Modal sheets, but I luuuurrrvvvvve me some jersey sheets. They’re just so snuggly. Dr.J prefers the cold, slick woven ones, though. :insert shocked, horrified, bewildered smilie here: We found a good compromise, though; some woven ones that feel almost like jersey knit.
