Got my son a new tv/vcr combo last month.
Now the vcr isn’t working!
It plays sound, but the picture is all snow.
I tried a crummy cleaner from Radio Shack, but it doesn’t work, and if I put it in for longer than 4 seconds, it stops and the tv goes off!
Anyone?
- Those VCR/TV combos are not to complicated to operate, so if you are having problems, it is probably a malfuntion.
- It is only a month or so old.
Take it back.
And get a refund, not a new TV.
Soon, America’s TV networks will go digital. Your newly purchased analog TV won’t work at all! :eek:

o to a local TV repair store, & but a used TV. What the heck–it only has to last for a few years, & for the same money, you can get a bigger screen!
Well, this isn’t entirely true. There will certainly be tuners available that will allow you to watch digital channels on your old analog set.
what happens if you complain about your TV a lot.
