It does one thing: It guarantees coverage for all who can’t get it otherwise.
It also mandates coverage minimums.
Soon, we’ll be back to the good old days when people with pre-existing conditions (I have two!) cannot find any coverage at any price.
And: $550/mo, and you’re bitching? Wait a few months and then get back to us.
But be damned certain you don’t develop any expensive disease/condition, or you will not have have to worry about the cost of health insurance ever again…
