Well,I guess it’s fair to establish a metric early on. If Clinton’s fairly innocuous video prompts a disproportionately negative response from someone, I’d have no expectation of reasoned dialog with that person once the campaigns are in full swing.

So, Stringbean, are you going to be stupid for the next 18 months? Letting us know now might be considered a courteous gesture to keep us from wasting our time in efforts at actual debate.

2. It is a perfectly fair, well-calculated tactic. I never said otherwise. I believe it was smart and will work. But I don’t drink the Kool-aid; Hillary don’t give a fuck about anyone but Hillary. She has shown her cards; the lines are drawn; the warfare to ensue.

3. And it should be noted, this side-show all started because you pitting me and called me an intellectually dishonest, sexist, racist misogynist. I think the debate ended at that point.

On that note, some wonder about my use of the term “demographic fairy tales.” A fair point, so allow me to explain. The recession hit lower-class Americans the hardest. Among those lie the primary demographics Hillary is targeting—blacks, asians, and latinos. Yeah, whites were hurt too, but much less so. Hillary’s announcement video made a point of parading the stories of successful minorities. No mention that the recession has crushed minorities and how to affect that: a feast of happy-go-lucky-ism.

She has made a point of parading the stories of successful minorities. Ok. How is that demographic warfare? I’m a successful white guy, I don’t feel like she’s declared war on me. How should I feel when I see a parade of successful minorities? Please tell me, because my instinct is to feel pretty good about it.

Your OP and subsequent clarifications did not successfully support your assertions of “demographic warfare” or “demographic fairy tales”. It’s ridiculous to claim that an optimistic portrayal of a diverse group of people, which is all Hillary’s ad consisted of, is any sort of “warfare” or “fairy tale” at all.
