The drama teacher who joined my senior year was found having sex with a student in my class and fired. It’s unclear if she was a student at the time. I never really knew the guy, though–I was in band and choir, which meant I couldn’t be in drama.
I have a cousin who had an affair with an 18 year old. Problem is, he was still a senior and she was school staff (but not his teacher), and so she was brought up on charges. Neither he nor his parents wanted to press charges, though, and she fired, got a slap on the wrist legally, and moved away.
I have a friend who dated someone previously convicted of something untoward with children. Her kids were all in their late teens, though, and he claimed to be reformed. I only knew about it because he wasn’t allowed to be alone with children at church–not that I ever saw him try.
