My pie tin is stuck inside my baking tin, any idea how to separate?

I don’t call anything a “baking tin”. I have “pie plates”, some of which are pyrex, some of which are ceramic, and some of which are metal. So I wasn’t sure how someone who used the word “baking tin” would define it.

Ah, dialects are fun! To me, a “pie plate” is a little plate that a piece of pie is served on to be eaten.

Ah, to me, that’s a “dessert plate”. Or just a “plate”, or a “small plate”.

My formal china has dessert plates and salad plates. My everyday china just has large plates and small plates. Both also have saucers.

Throw them in the washing machine!? Good gods. Won’t that break my washing machine? Spiderman you are right what a ruckus that would be.

And baking tin is a round metal dish that is usually a dark gray. Pie tin is a shiny metal dish that is also round but the sides are a little bit less angled.

I’m with Tibby, because… science!
