I’m in heaven! My favorite 60’s TV show is back! I saw two episodes last night…Morticia is so sexy! And Gomez (John Astin)-those eyes of his give him such a crazed look!
Uncle Fester and Grandma-what a bunch of wacky characters…man I LOVE this show!

Yes, I’ve been telling my kids for a while now about this great show they would love, and a couple days ago I noticed the impending marathon being advertised. Very exciting!! Unless, of course, the eight year old watches an episode and goes ‘Gee, daddy, this show isn’t funny at all. Why do you like it?’ :dubious:
The four year old will, of course, love Uncle Fester. I have no doubts about that.
I’m very happy as well. I’ve always loved the program and last night’s episodes just whetted my appetite for more. I hope it becomes a regular feature on TVLand.
On a somewhat related note, Trio is doing a month of Flops!, shows that missed the mark. I can now say that I have seen an episode of My Mother The Car and it is a dismal as the jokes make it out to be. Poor Jerry Van Dyck, he actually is pretty funny, but the interaction with the car ruins the flow of what is really a standard “home, family and neighbors” comedy. Trio is also running Cop Rock and Jeff and Pink Lady. I vaguely remembering watching the first episode of Cop Rock when it first aired and I think I could have liked it.
But then, I like The Addams Family, so my taste is obviously somewhat odd.
You underestimate yourself. A liking for The Addams Family is a sign of a special level of taste.
