This year is my junior prom. And I reallly really wanna have an awesome dress. (moan and groan guys i know) but I am having troubles locating places on the internet to browse. Or styles to browse…
I know I want a dress that is from another era. My date has even agreed to dress in the same time period. What era do you guys think we should go for?
The theme is Midnight in Madrid
If you want to stick with the theme, you might opt for flamenco wear, but your date had better have an awesome ass to get away with it. If you are just interested in period clothing, that’s going to depend on your body type. If you have a curvy bod, you might want something corseted, like an Edwardian dress. If you don’t want a lot of confining undergarments, you might look at some Empire and Regency styles.

How much were you looking to spend, and how much time do you have? There are lots of pattern resources if you have time to make one, or have one made (I’d suggest Regency, as they are much, much simpler than most period fasions, as well as being very comfortable to wear and dance in)
