My Review Of Clintwood/Damon's "Hereafter"

“Waitaminnit! That’s it?”

This was D’s and mine’s first outing to the movies in 2 years, but we wish we had waited for the rental.

There was a lot left unresolved, IMO. For instance, I wanted more communication between the ones who had passed and the ones remaining and I wanted to see more of George and Marie - not just that handshake. I’m not a big fan of subtitles, but since Marie was a French reporter working for a French television news organization, I understand their necessity.

I figured Clint had had the script for a while and when he and Damon finished Invictibus Eruptum, he just asked ol’ Matt to hang around a while longer.

The best part of the film? Matt Damon and whoever it was that played the drug-addicted Mom of Jason and Marcus. Cinematography rocked as well.

I want to end by saying that I love and respect most of Eastwood’s work and am astounded that an 80+ year old guy continues to work as hard as he does.

Thanks
