My right is stronger than my left

I know this is only natural when you’re right handed but I’ve noticed that I do have quite a lot more muscle on my right than my left. I do a lot of press-ups and I have a feeling sometimes my right is doing more work than my left. Is there any way i can make sure the left side of me is pulling it’s weight, so to speak?

Absolutely, use dumbells for all your arm work. This gives each arm in an exercise the same wieght to lift. You will not be able to use as much wieght though. In other words you can’t assume that because your doing bench press reps with 150lbs on a single press bar that you can do 75lbs a piece with dumbells. Try about 75 % and work up if neccasary.

Use dumbbells rather than a barbell.

OK thanks guys. At the moment I dont actually use any weights, I just do push ups, crunches, and taekwon-do training. I think’s I’ll start doing some dubm bell work though, cheers!
