My roommate came up positive for Corvid

I’m even more isolated than usual. Given the state of my lungs (a nurse listed off all the things wrong with them which Oldest with medical power of attorney and better access to my chart than me summed it up as, “You’re a fucking mess,” a medical term), so I need to be careful.

As I may have mentioned before, “CORVID” is in memory of the funny and fun loving family of crows that hung out by my house until they were the first in Illinois wiped out by West Nile Virus.

I hope both you and roomie are fully recovered quickly and don’t kill each other during any isolation period.

He’s a bit of a basket case and I don’t expect to see him again, but I’ve been wrong before.

Raven mad?

I have requested a booster but they need 25 residents who need boosters before they can call in for getting me one. Sounds like a lawsuit in the making.

Yeah, it does.
Please take care, Mikey. Are you wearing a mask?

Request a move if you can. Put Eldest on it.

They moved me as soon as they found out. No mask for me; they just stay away from me with my door closed.

You people know how cheerfully positive I am normally, but this kind of positive doesn’t leave me cheerful. Dateline: A few minutes ago " Mr zone, your test just came back positive. Do you want me to call anyone?"

I’d fucking kill that asshole, but Mother Nature seemed to be doing it for me.

No, that’s not good news. I surely hope the next news you’re given is far, far better.

Anything happens to you, we’re on it. Good thoughts coming your way.

I’m sorry to hear it!
