Y’know what I do to people who send me spam crap (chain letters, forward-this-for-$1,000, check out this weird pic and story, etc).
I go to Snopes, find the article about that Email (I do love the Inboxer Rebellion section), and reply with the the c&p article and web address.
I tend to only get about two of those kinds of Emails from any one person. Maybe they get tired of someone telling them they’d been duped.
Seems to work, tho.
Heh. I do this, too, Silver Serpentine . Except I reply to all with the Snopes cut and paste.

DogMom:
Bubba , Morgyn , the option to “send without letting any of the recipients see the rest of the mailing list” is called Blind Carbon Copy (Or “courtesy copy”. Your choice), also known as “bcc”. Every mailer should have that option, though it’s not always necessarily obvious. It’s an invaluable tool in cases like this, where you want to send something to a large group of people but don’t want one or more of them to go email harvesting.
This is what I get for forgetting I had posted to this thread–a late reply. DogMom , I wasn’t saying I didn’t know if this option existed, just that I didn’t know how Outlook/Express handled distribution lists (same idea as bcc, but you can send to a LOT more people) because I, thankfully, have never had to use those two programs.
