I didn’t read the post from a couple weeks ago, but I imagine I am not the only person thinking to myself…“the hell? It’s the middle of August! Who starts Kindergarten at the beginning of August?”

In Michigan, public schools are not allowed to start before Labor Day.

I went to public school in the Thumb of Michigan, and it usually started around August 22-26.

The kid will survive this. I think the parents need to grow up.

Yes because any time a parent shows the tiniest bit of empathy for their child, they are acting childish and need to grow up.

The grown up way to deal with things is to tell them “shut the fuck up or I’ll give you something to cry about”. :rolleyes:
