My goodness! Of course our thoughts are with you. My son had a fender bender last week with a neighbor on his bike. He was lucky. He slid down the side of the car and only scratched his back. I do hope your son will be fine. Not going to be much fun having a broken leg during summer vaction, poor fella. My prayers are with you.

HOW HORRIBLE! You should sue the pants off that woman. I hope she gets jail time. If her kids are being treated like that they would probably do better in foster care. Don’t feel sorry for her because she doesn’t treat her own kids well. You have to keep your children healthy. You would be doing everyone a favor by suing her.

As for that unadulterated idiot behind the wheel - get yourself a consultation with a lawyer and see how far this thing is worth pursuing. Doesn’t matter if it was in a parking lot, this moron was driving WITHOUT A LICENSE and should be held responsible for the situation. Doesn’t sound like she’s responsible for much else but damn… some trouble should definitely be made for her. sigh
Her not having a drivers license and being in a private parking lot makes all the difference in the world. It is not illegal to drive on private property without one. You could even blow stop signs and not obey the speed limits as long as you are in a parking lot that is privately owned!
The officers supervisor was a great help! All he said was be thankful it wasn’t worse and move on!
Yes, I am thankful that it wasn’t worse, but she is going to pay for this. She doesn’t even have a consience about the whole deal. I know on my part it is bad karma and I have to watch what I send out because of the law of three, but I want her to answer in someway or another for what she has done to our whole family and the school children who saw it, and the people who helped lift the car off of him who will all have nite terrors at seeing his limp little body battered and bleeding, or those who heard him screaming who will replay those sounds in there minds.
I have not said anything negative about this woman, or wished her ill, I just want her held accountable for what she did.
Thank you again for all the kind words and thought being sent out. It helps to know that you are all out there, and that maybe this has help others tell their children what can happen at any moment. Hopefully families got a little closer for a while.
