My terrible awful very bad day

Yeah if she had the other adult in the back seat there is a chance accident would not have happened.
Stupid and incompetent.

Every time I see one of those “Baby on Board” signs, I hear George Carlin in my head. “Baby on board, child in car! Don’t tell me your troubles, lady! You know what would be an honest sign? Asshole at the wheel!”

Glad you’re okay, Rick.

Well of course not, she didn’t see what happened, duh! :smack:

Does it also indicate the possibility of momentary unconsciousness?

I’m going with permanent stupidity rather than momentary unconsciousness.

No kidding - when you’re driving, what’s going on out your front window is so unimportant, you know?

That’s a safe bet.

I’m really developing quite a head of steam being annoyed at the person who hit you, Rick. I may be transferring a bit.

The girl that hit you has a new car …

I have to say that I drove once with a new mother and her baby in the back seat. I must have aged 10 years in 20 minutes. She was constantly looking at or doing something with the baby behind her.

I know that the baby seat is safer, but has anyone done a study about how many more accidents it causes?

Oh my GOD that was painful to watch - I thought she had it at about 30 seconds in - back into the empty space, do a quick Y turn, and yer outta there, but NOOOOOOOO - three more minutes of backing and filling!

Wasn’t it awful? Just goes to show they’ll give a license to anyone.

Naw not her, the lady in the video is too good a driver.

The lady in the station wagon waiting to back out has the patience of a saint. I’d have yanked the stupid bint out of the car and done it for her.

Yeah it’s horrible. The driver seemed to have good spatial awareness, but was totally unskilled at actually TURNING. THE. STEERING. WHEEL.

I couldn’t tell - isn’t the waiting car a Volvo?

No not a Volvo, not sure what it is, but for sure not a Volvo
