my thumb!!! AGGGH!!!

My right thumb is always cold! What is with that?! My whole body is warm, my arms are warm, my hands are warm, my right hand is warm… the fingers on my right hand are warm. WHY in God’s green pastures is my right thumb ONLY cold? This happens all the time!!! ARRR! I don’t get it. It’s driving me crazy. Grrrr!!

p.s. GRRRRR

hhhhmmmm, perhaps there is an old childhood injury? thumbsucking connection?

An MD would probably say, “See your doctor, it could be a circulation thing or a repetitive trauma thing.” A chiropractor would probably say, “It’s in your neck. Let me adjust that.” At choir practice, they’d probably say, “Pray.” A bartender would probably say, “Don’t stir your drink with that. Here’s a spoon.” Lands’ End would probably say, “We’ve got a great deal on these Polartec mittens.”

Hmm, I never sucked my thumb as a kiddo, but this circulation thing may be something. Arr, I’m not going to a doctor for this nonsense though. Seems silly to go see a doc b/c my thumb is cold… but what if it’s serious?! Oh GOD! My thumb is gonna be chopped off!

p.p.s. …but I like stirring my drinks wif me thumb

I get the same thing with my left hand. it seems to be twice as cold as the right hand, and the rest of the body.

I am left-handed. Is it a dominant limb thing?

Maybe the problem isn’t that the thumb is cold but that the rest o’ you is warm.
