My tractor unit.......

Suitably pointless info…

A late 05 DAF XF 95 (480 BHP), “6 legger” (that’s 3 axles), with me in it, a full tank of Diesel (550 litres), about 20 maps, 2 mobile/cell phones, a pair of flip flops, a pair of working boots, sleeping bag, travelling rug, pillow, plastic box containing - stove top espresso maker, camping stove, some airline clean up kits (tooth brushes, hand wipes, tooth paste etc) a couple of saucepans, cutlery, etc.

Not forgetting the 15 litres of drinking water, 5 cans of soup, 2 “sheets” of egg noodles, about 6 fish stock cubes - and in the built in fridge, 200g tin of “Lavazza gold” coffee, pack of butter, pint of milk. In the side boxes, 10 straps and rachets, spare number place, 2 different types of additional trailer couplings and what’s left of the original manufacturer tool kit (wheel brace, towing coupling for front of chassis, small nail bar/jemmy)…

All weighs 8580 kg… as I had to weigh it yesterday.

Oh and with a trailer attached (3 axles/6 leg trailer that is…), has a maximum “kerb” weight of 44000 kg…

Just thought you’d like to know :dubious:;)

Why just fish stock cubes?

You have something against beef, chicken or pork?:dubious:

Sounds like you are prepared =)

Do you have a cat or dog as a traveling companion? Would you want one if you don’t?

44000kg… roughly 88000lbs?
I do believe that here in the states max is 80000lbs.
what is max “across the pond” and does it vary from country to country?

The extra lbs are gallon jugs full of piss soon to be jettisoned? Oh and the dead hooker.

Jeez, that is a LOT of stuff just to go down Tesco. Can’t you take the bus?

Ahem. Lame without pictures.
