I do not feel that the ones in custody now, are the only ones there are, there is another, the one over it all. The gun in their car was only linked to 11 of the 14 sniper attacks, period. Right now, the duck is in the noose, the rabbit is on top…
…but how long before the duck flys away, free again?
Call me crazy, call me insane, but I totally believe that who they have now, is not who they truly need in the end. Think of it this way…
…the main sniper wanted to target kids, and when that was told they told everyone to NOT go out on Halloween night if the snipper is still at large. So what he does, is lead the cops to two “fall guys” who are involved, and it sets up his perfect plan. Right now, everyone is outside, smiling, with no worries, and trick-or-treating will go on as normal.
I fear that Halloween night, the true sniper will have a field day, and I pray to God that I’m wrong. Our guard is now down, or defenses are gone, we are once again moving on as Americans do every time right after a tragedy, we are vulnarable, and this sets up his ultimate stage.
It’s probably worth pointing out that the gun recovered from John Muhammad’s car wasn’t ruled out as the source of the remaining three bullets; they were just too badly damaged to be able to tell one way or the other.
I’m glad you said that – what I don’t get is how they were able to link the bullets to each other if they’re too damaged to link them to the gun. Am I missing something?
They didn’t link those bullets with each other. In the three cases where they weren’t able to link the bullets with the same gun (which turns out to be the gun recovered from John Muhammad’s car), they simply assumed they were nonetheless the work of the same person, based on where, when, and how the shootings took place. It’s not impossible they were actually fired from a different gun, by someone else with a different agenda, but those shootings were carried out in pretty much the same way and in the same area and during the same time period as the other 11 shootings which can be linked. And there is no evidence at this point to suggest they aren’t linked to the other 11 shootings.
If he wanted to mainly shoot kids then why has only one been shot? The leading theory is that the sniper targeted a child after numerous comments from officials about how our children were safe, especially at school as a way to rattle us, not because of a predisposition to the murdering of teens. The publicized comment in the note about no child safe anywhere, anytime would fit in with a desire to rattle the area.
As for the rest of your theory where’s the proof? There is nothing that we are aware of to indicate that there was anyone else involved. All of the evidence that the public has points at only the two people in custody and I’m pretty sure the authorities would have picked up by now if there was someone else involved, and that would’ve leaked like so many other things in the investigation. Sorry, but your theory sounds very if-ish to me.
