My vote counted! Tick and NewsRadio on DVD!

I just want to say that I would be all over the animated Tick anthology like a bad suit.

Please post a monster thread when it becomes available. It’s really sad that copyright issues prevented them from exploring the Tick’s Clark Kent alter ego. Methinks the comic books were best of all.

Mr. James: “The original title of this book was ‘Jimmy James, Capitalist Lion Tamer’ but I see now that it’s… ‘Jimmy James, Macho Business Donkey Wrestler’… you know what it is… I had the book translated in to Japanese then back in again into English. Macho Business Donkey Wrestler… well there you go… it’s got kind of a ring to it don’t it? Anyway, I wanted to read from chapter three… which is the story of my first rise to financial prominence… I had a small house of brokerage on Wall Street… many days no business come to my hut… my hut… but Jimmy has fear? A thousand times no. I never doubted myself for a minute for I knew that my monkey strong bowels were girded with strength like the loins of a dragon ribboned with fat and the opulence of buffalo… dung. …Glorious sunset of my heart was fading. Soon the super karate monkey death car would park in my space. But Jimmy has fancy plans… and pants to match. The monkey clown horrible karate round and yummy like cute small baby chick would beat the donkey.”

Question: “Mr. James, what did you mean when you wrote bad clown making like super American car racers, I would make them sweat, War War?”

Mr. James: “Well, you know… it’s LIKE when a clown is making like a car… racer… it’s sorta… like… the FCC. The CLOWN… the clown is like the FCC… and I was opposed to the FCC at the time, right? So it was like I was declaring War. WARRRR!”

Question: “So then did the American yum yum clown monkey also represent the FCC?”

Mr. James: “Yeah, it did. Thanks a LOT!”

Question: "What did you mean when you said, “Feel my skills, donkey donkey donkey, donkey donkey?”

Mr. James: Sigh

I always have to point out that in the audience listen to Jimmy James speak is none other then Ron Jeremy(big American porn star). And IMHO he’s doing something quite rude.

Stupid DVDs are going to make me homeless. You’ll find me living in a tent up above Tantalus clutching my DVDs. My precious DVDs. Basically a week can’t go by without one being announced for later this year that I absolutely must have. I’m such a corporate shill but I love NewsRadio. With a passion.

Have you seen The Woman Chaser? God, I’ve so got the hots for him, ever since his stint as Puddy. His voice … I watch Kim Possible just to hear him.

There was a particular one of his M&M commercials that totally turned my drive shaft…can’t recall which one now though.

I noticed Ron Jeremy, too. It’s always good to see the hedgehog pop up in mainstream TV shows and movies.

Newsradio on DVD. Good times, good times.

I saw the thread title and almost came in my pants. I enjoyed the live action Tick, but I am hoping and praying they put the animated series on DVD.

I clearly posted before reading the thread. I will now make all of you animated Tick people jealous: I have all 36 episodes on VHS. Best present my boyfriend ever gave me. Weep, puny mortals!

Also, I have a talking 5" Tick wearing an “I Dig Dinosaur Neil” T-shirt on my desk right this very moment.

I heart the Tick, and want to have his nigh invulnerable babies.

I believe you should complain to 20th Century Fox over that one.

Ah, every day of my life, I wish I was BatManuel.

“Diego! How is your sister?”

I voted for Newsradio too. this kicks so much ass. Now I can watch Super Karate Monkey Death Car as much as I want!

Tee hee, I have them all on coughvideo CDcough. 12 CDs, 3 eps each. Note that I will buy the DVD if and when they release it. Sometimes you just have to wonder what in the hell they’re waiting for. Same thing with Tenacious D’s HBO episodes. . .I would buy those in a heartbeat, but I’ll watch my VCD until then. Even though only 6 15 min. shorts might have a hard time filling out a DVD, the D has so much other that could be put on there. . .concert stuff, etc. Or maybe the shorts are on the Mr. Show DVDs? I haven’t gotten around to buying those yet, but I will soon. I miss that show, and don’t even have tapes/CDs.

Umm, OK, so you and I respond differently to him.
Personally, I dig him because he’s EVIL.

I’m feeling the NewsRadio DVDs. How freaking awesome was the episode with the poker game where Mr. James loses Bill to another station?
