My weird eating habits

Apart from munching on raw cheese slices and mayonnaise straight from the tub(as I Confess!!ed),our family also has some weird eating habits that I didn’t even think of until I went away for the weekend and got looked at as if I was a lunatic.
Firstly I don’t have gravy with a roast…(moved up North and they had gravy with chips…euww!)I have butter on my veggies and the roast too.
For breakfast,we have Weetabix.Spread with butter and covered in sugar. And munched just like a biscuit. This was a super treat in our family. As was a saucerful of butter and sugar just mixed together-for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day or if you’d been very good, you would get this as a special treat.Does wonders for your teeth.
So what weird eating habits do you and your family have?

My parents have a delightful picture of me around age four, all dolled up in a fancy dress with my hair in curls and bows and I’m nearly covered in melting butter from head to toe. We’d been getting ready for a family portrait and Mom got me ready first and somehow no one was around to notice me getting a pound of butter from the icebox and very messily eating it.

Does a penchant for straight butter count as weird? I can’t say that I actually remember eating it, but the family swears I was manic about it as a tot.

In high school, I had a girlfriend who was amazed my mother served us fried eggs for breakfast. She was all freaked out, she’d never even seen eggs, fried, scrambled or any other way, eaten in her house, just used as baking ingredients. I couldn’t believe she’d never noticed any in a restaurant, even McMuffins have eggs! Even if someone in the family had an allergy or just a serious aversion, how could you grow up not knowing eggs are a common food?

Not that gravy is anything you’d want to make an effort to incorporate in your diet, but fries with gravy are yummmmm!

You eat butter mixed with sugar… as a meal? My god that makes me ill. All that saturated fat :(.
