I like to put ketchup on everything. Especially my eggs. Yummy. Oh I like it on ice cream too, but I don’t tell anyone about that becuase they would think it was WAY too wierd. I remember seeing a TV show when I was little when someone was so preoccupied that they accidentally put ketchup on their ice cream istead of chocolate syrup, and all I could think was, “Whats so gross about that?” I was a strange little child.
I like to take a large shredded wheat biscuit, open it up like a bun, lay on some cheese, nuke it til the cheese melts, and eat it like a sandwich. Everyone who has seen me do this says it’s gross.
When I go to Wendy’s, I like to dip my fries in a frosty (that’s basically a chocolate milkshake, for those of you who don’t have Wendy’s). I also think that dill pickles and sauerkraut go exceptionally well together. But I actually have a very strong tolerance for bizarre flavor combinations, so these are pretty tame compared to what else I’ve done. I may try Persephone’s recipe sometime.
I eat pancakes with a little sour cream(or melted butter) and thin slices of smoked fish(salmon is best if you can afford it) I like it, it’s the way my Russian cookbooks say it’s done in their country. But here in the US I get told I’m weird.
Soft serve vanilla ice cream is quite possibly the world’s most perfect food. Have you ever tried mixing it with your favorite cereal? Mmmmmmmm, soft vanilla ice cream and corn flakes.
Delphica, you remind me of another… I like cereal with half-and-half.
I really do have an unhealthy affection for extremely high fat foods. I select meat cuts based on how much fat they have on them - the more the better.
Crisp Fried bacon dipped in mustard.
Fried chicken skin. Just the skin. Like a snack.
Chocolate chip cookies with no chocolate chips, not enough flour and more butter… result is fondly known as “goo cookies”
I’m special in that I am hard-pressed to find a combination of foods that I don’t like (as long as I like each component seperately).
My favorite flavours are chocolate, balsamic vinegar and garlic. I’m still trying to wrok out a perfect way to combine’m. Usually I just deal with olive oil and vinegar on bread and chocolate in alternating bites.
