My wife has breast cancer

Having the spouse / SO on the speakerphone during office visits is pretty much SOP these days at the clinic I deal with.

Another vote that this is probably a highly manageable problem with a good outcome. After a couple weeks of intense fear and a few months of intense hassle. You will ride an emotional rollercoaster. You will also get past that mostly intact unless you choose to wallow in depression. My advice: don’t so that.

Best wishes for your family, I hope everything will be great

Welcome, Angry Kitten!

Suranyi, both of you are in my prayers.

Yes, I can be on speakerphone, in fact they suggested it.

We had the first conversation with the oncology nurse/coordinator. Sounds like we caught it early, and it should be very treatable, thank goodness.

That is great news!

That’s fantastic! Keep us posted.

I wish your wife the best. Good that it seems to be early days. Keep us updated, if you care to, or are able.

My grandmother has a mastectomy at the age of 91, and lived to be almost 108.

What great news! Wishing you both smooth sailing from here on out.
